Settings and implementation of minimum wage:
- The Minimum Wage Ordinance (Cap. 608) commences on 1 May 2011
- Attendance records are required for any employee whose
salary is below HK$11,500
- If the statutory minimum wage required (no. of working
hours x HK$28) for the month is greater than the payable
wage calculation, then the system will automatically
calculate the additional remuneration that the employer has
to pay.
